UPDATE: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon‘s Michelle Yeoh is heading to Cinemax’s action series Strike Back along with Will Yun Lee and other new cast members, the network just announced. New cast members include Dustin Clare (Spartacus), James Wilby (Gosford Park), Adrian Paul (Highlander), Joseph Gatt (Game Of Thrones), Christian Antidormi (Spartacus: War Of The Damned), and UK MMA fighter Michael Bisping. Michael McElhatton (Game Of Thrones), Max Beesley (Suits), Tim McInnerny (Notting Hill), Leo Gregory (Tristan And Isolde), Mark Griffin (Doctor Who), Wolf Kahler (Sherlock Holmes: A Game Of Shadows), Andrew Pleavin (300: Rise Of An Empire), Eliza Hope Bennett (Nanny McPhee) and Masa Yamaguchi (The Wolverine) also have been cast for the final 10-episode season.
PREVIOUS EXCLUSIVE, 2:06 PM: True Blood‘s Will Yun Lee has joined the fourth and final season of Cinemax’s Strike Back. The primetime drama recently resumed production in Europe and will also shoot in Thailand after taking a six-month hiatus after star Sullivan Stapleton suffered an off-set injury. Lee’s character details are being kept under wraps, but he’ll play a villainous role as a member of the North Korean State Security Department. Strike Back is set to return on Cinemax and Sky 1 in the UK in 2015. Lee will also be seen on the upcoming 100th episode of CBS’s Hawaii Five-0 and stars in New Line, WB, and Village Roadshow’s disaster pic San Andreas. He’s repped by APA and Zero Gravity Management.
