Ian Sander and Kim Moses have signed a first-look deal with 20th Century Fox Television Studios to develop and produce new series for the studio through their Sander/Moses Prods. The deal stems from Sander and Moses’ collaboration with 20th TV on the drama Runner. The project, based on the Turkish series Son, was sold to Fox last season to mark the first Turkish TV format to be set up in Hollywood by American producers. The 20th TV-produced drama just received a cast-contingent pilot order from the network. “Ian and Kim are expert producers with a smart approach and a fantastic track record of getting network series through the process and on the air,” said 20th TV President of Creative Affairs Jonnie Davis. “We’ve had a great experience with them on Runner, and we’re excited to continue the relationship on future projects they develop.”
Outside of the deal, Sander/Moses has set up the drama series project Kingdoms at Amazon. The project, written by father-and-son duo Roderick and Bruce Taylor (The Brave One), tells the biblical saga of the Apostles – 12 ordinary men who clashed with the power and wealth of three kingdoms to change the world forever.
UTA-repped Sander and Moses, who executive produced CBS’ long-running drama Ghost Whisperer, have been working on the CBS drama Reckless, which just ended its freshman season.
