EXCLUSIVE: VH1’s new drama series Hindsight is making several casting changes and additions after the pilot. Jessy Hodges (Enlisted), John Patrick Amedori (The Last Stand) and Drew Sidora (Step Up), along with recently announced Nick Clifford, have been tapped as series regulars and Collins Pennie (In Time) and Adam Herschman (Accepted) have booked recurring roles on the show, which has begun production in Atlanta. Amedori and Clifford are joining in recastings, Penney has been cast after the character of Ezra has been rewritten as Xavier, while Sidora and Hodges are newly cast.
Set in 1990s New York, Hindsight centers on Becca (Laura Ramsey), who on the day of her wedding in 2014, wakes up in 1995, faced with the opportunity to change the direction of her life from that point forward.
Hodges, repped by Gersh and Gartner Green Entertainment, will play Andy’s girlfriend Melanie Morelli. Amedori will play Jamie Brady, Becca’s devil-may-care younger brother and a love interest for Lolly. Sidora, repped by HRI Talent and Jordan Management, will play Paige Hill, a former child actress who now works at Becca and Lolly’s local bar while continuing to audition for acting roles in pursuit of a big break. In another recasting, Pennie, repped by Don Buchwald & Associates and Untitled Entertainment, will recur as Xavier. Herschman, repped by Authentic Talent & Literary Managementwill play Sebastian, a malcontent film snob who manages the video store where Lolly works.
Hindsight, from writer Emily Fox (Jane By Design) and Timberman-Beverly, is slated for a January 2015 premiere.
