Well-known political strategist Andy Spahn is changing the name of his firm to Gonring, Spahn & Associates to recognize his partner, co-founder and CEO Jennifer Gonring. The move comes only about a month before the November 4 midterm elections where key races are going on in the House of Representatives, 33 of 100 seats are in play in the Senate and 38 gubernatorial races are at stake. Also, 46 state legislator seats are up for grabs.
The CEO has worked with Spahn since the company was established in 2006 and has played a key role in all of the political consulting firms’ operations. The two are both former DreamWorks employees and have worked together more than 15 years. Gonring runs all aspects of the firm’s day-to-day operations and directs new business growth. She has a specialty in strategies for fundraising, charitable giving and political affairs. When at DreamWorks, she served as director of special projects overseeing public relations as well as the family trusts for both the Katzenbergs and the Spielbergs.
“Jennifer has truly been my partner on this journey and I look forward to continuing our work together in the years ahead,” said Spahn.
