Craig Ferguson visited his NBC late-night competitor Seth Meyers to plug his new game show Celebrity Name Game, but the talk naturally turned to his soon-to-end CBS late-night program. Ferguson noted everyone on Meyers’ show is “young and beautiful.” Meyers noted Ferguson works with a skeleton.
Meyers said he’s jealous how relaxed Ferguson is on his late-night TV program, as well he might. Ferguson said modestly it’s a jadedness that comes with time. Meyers joined the cast of Saturday Night Live in 2001 — three years before Ferguson became host of CBS’ Late Late Show. Meyers stayed with SNL until leaving to host Late Night.
Then they talked about Ferguson’s new game show, and how President George W. Bush told a funny joke the year Ferguson hosted the White House Correspondents Dinner.
