Andrea Parker has booked a recurring role on Fox’s coming-of age-drama series Red Band Society, from ABC Studios and Amblin TV. Written/exec produced by Margaret Nagle and based on a Spanish format, Red Band Society revolves around teenagers who are long-term hospital patients. APA-repped Parker will play Sarah, the mother of Kara Sounders (Zoe Levin), a wealthy, driven, dedicated and fashionable woman who has connections and usually gets what she wants. She is the “alpha dog” in her lesbian relationship and is hellbent on finding a way to move her daughter up the organ-donation list to receive a new heart. Parker recurs on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars, and her TV credits also include Desperate Housewives, Less Than Perfect and The Pretender and the NBC pilots Feed Me and Beautiful People.

The Mentalist alum Owain Yeoman has joined the second-season cast of AMC‘s Revolutionary War drama Turn. Written by Craig Silverstein, based on the book Washington’s Spies and directed by Rupert Wyatt, Turn is set in the summer of 1778 and tells the story of New York farmer Abe Woodhull (Jamie Bell), who bands together with a group of childhood friends to form the Culper Ring, an unlikely group of spies who turn the tide in America’s fight for independence. Yeoman will play Benedict Arnold, the American Continental Army General who defected to the British side. He is repped by ICM, Think Tank Management, The Safran Company and ARG in the UK.
