The Producers Guild of America is taking its Produced By conference on the road to New York City in October, marking the first time the confab will be held outside of Los Angeles. The Weinstein Company’s Bob and Harvey Weinstein will be among the speakers at the one-day event, which will be held October 25 at the Time Warner Center.
“The Produced By conference has proven to be an industry-defining event which offers unparalleled networking opportunities, as well as a wide array of educational seminars, and professional resources,” said PGA Co-presidents Lori McCreary and Gary Lucchesi in a statement. “We are thrilled to expand Produced By to New York City after six successful years in Los Angeles.” The PGA held its two-day Produced By conference in June at Warner Bros Studios in Burbank.
