A+E Networks has promoted Alexandra MacDowell to SVP Production Management for A+E Studios. MacDowell, who previously served as VP Production Management, will continue to oversee the production management for all unscripted programming in the A+E Networks’ portfolio (A&E, History, Lifetime, FYI, H2 and LMN). Additionally, in her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing strategic production opportunities for nonfiction programming under A+E Studios. She is based in A+E’s NYC headquarters and reports to Bob DeBitetto, A+E Networks’ President of Brand Strategy, Business Development.
“Alex brings a track record of significant accomplishment to the table, from both the network and production sides of our industry,” said DeBitetto. “She is a talented and knowledgeable resource who has been integral to the success of A+E Networks’ original programming strategy.”
Prior to joining A+E Networks, MacDowell held numerous production management positions at Viacom networks, including VH1, as well as several production companies.
