Former Giant Pictures exec Benjamin Tappan is moving to Landscape Entertainment as SVP Television. The appointment was announced today by Landscape Partners Bob Cooper and Tyler Mitchell. In his new role, Tappan will manage Landscape’s TV slate along with Director of Development Sandy Shenkman. Current projects include the event series Nazareth, the first project under an overall deal between Landscape and Fox, as well as the recently announced Brand for USA Networks, exec produced by Jodie Foster (who also is attached to direct). Also on deck is Death In The Modern Age, which Landscape is producing as part of its first-look deal with Entertainment One television. Tappan most recently served as SVP at 20th Century Fox-based Giant Pictures where he oversaw development on projects, including A Good Day To Die Hard, Agent 47 and Go Like Hell.
