Previous, Wednesday PM: Liz Wahl is out of a job — and into the spotlight. The Washington-based American anchor for Russia Today America quit during a live newscast tonight, citing the network’s slanted coverage of the crisis in Crimea. “I think the propagandist nature of RT came out in full force,” she told CNN’s Anderson Cooper later. “RT is not about the truth. It’s about promoting a Putinist agenda, and I can tell you firsthand it’s also about bashing America.” Russia Today is based in Moscow and funded by the government there.
