Departing Tonight Show show host Jay Leno and his successor Jimmy Fallon will sit down with Matt Lauer in their first joint interview set to air January 27 on Today. According to NBC, Leno and Fallon talk about the Tonight Show legacy and how they have handled the passing of the mic. They also discuss the fraternity of late-night comedians and what they do to keep tabs on one another. Fallon will begin hosting The Tonight Show on Monday, February 17. Meanwhile, CBS spoke with Jay Leno about the upcoming Tonight transition in an interview set to air Sunday on 60 Minutes.
