Fishbowl Worldwide Media has hired Emily Mayer as SVP development and Winston Cutshall as director of development. Mayer was most recently VP development at NBC/Universal’s Wilshire Studio, developing, selling and producing projects for more than a dozen different networks including E!, Vh1, WE, Bio, Travel and Sundance. Prior to that, Mayer was VP development at GRB Entertainment. Before joining Fishbowl, Cutshall was co-founder and partner of Idiomatic Entertainment, which developed reality projects for numerous companies including Craig Piligian’s Pilgrim Films and Television, 3 Ball and Super Delicious.
HBO just picked up Fishbowl’s scripted project Hard, an adaptation of the French TV series about the porn industry, and their unscripted series Toned Up premiered on Bravo earlier this month. The company also has nine pilot presentations set at several networks including E!, Lifetime and GSN.
