From one set of friends to another. CBS will premiere new ensemble comedy Friends With Better Lives behind the series finale of How I Met Your Mother on March 31. Starting the following Monday, Friends With Better Lives will move to its regular Monday 8:30 PM slot, following a Big Bang Theory rerun until 2 Broke Girls takes over the 8 PM anchor position vacated by HIMYM on April 14. HIMYM will end its nine-season run with an hourlong finale almost two months before the end of the season, an unusually early exit for a series of this caliber, but CBS certainly needs the real estate. As previously announced, midseason CBS drama Intelligence will debut in the Monday 10 PM slot on January 13 after a preview behind NCIS on January 7.
