EXCLUSIVE: Sundance Channel has recruited some unusual contributors for the awards campaign in support of its original series Rectify. Works of incarcerated artists are included in The Rectify Project: Visions from Inside via the Safe Streets Arts Foundation, part of the nonprofit Prisons Foundation which publishes books and poetry written in prison as free downloads. The unorthodox campaign ties thematically into the series about Daniel Holden (Aden Young), a man who turns to literature during his two decades on death row before being released from prison. The full collection can be seen online here. Rectify is Sundance Channel’s first original series and is set to return for a second season in 2014.
