A structure is starting to emerge at Warner Bros following new CEO Kevin Tsujihara announcing the formation of a global television distribution organization under the leadership of Worldwide Television Distribution president Jeffrey Schlesinger. As part of the new alignment, Warners said today that David Decker has been promoted to EVP Business & Legal Affairs, Warner Bros Worldwide Television Distribution, where he will oversee the combined domestic and international television distribution’s business & legal affairs groups and report to Schlesinger. Warner Bros International Television Distribution’s General Counsel, Ron Miele, will continue to report to Schlesinger. Decker had been EVP Business & Legal Affairs at Warner Bros Domestic Television Distribution and Telepictures Productions since 2009. Meanwhile, on the international side, Robert Blair and Jim Brehm have been promoted to EVP Warner Bros International Television Distribution, where the two will jointly lead the international sales team outside the U.S. Blair had served as SVP Northern Europe, Middle East, and Africa since 2006; Brehm has served since 2008 as SVP Sales, Canada, Asia Pacific and Latin America.

Schlesinger was tapped in May to head Warners’ newly combined domestic and international distribution efforts. He is responsible for distribution of the studio’s content to all television platforms worldwide, including the sale of previously produced series and feature films to U.S. broadcast and cable outlets, domestic syndication and sales to VOD platforms. He reports to Tsujihara, who was appointed CEO in a major exec shake-up in January that eventually resulted in the exit of Warner Bros Television Group boss Bruce Rosenblum and Warner Bros Pictures Group chief Jeff Robinov.
