Two months after newly minted A+E Networks president and CEO Nancy Dubuc set her top management team, with new responsibilities for Bob DeBitetto, David McKillop, Dirk Hoogstra and Robert Sharenow and the appointment of Jana Bennett to run LMN and Bio, the company is promoting four more programming executives. Elaine Frontain Bryant, most recently SVP Non-Fiction & Alternative Programming at A&E, has been named SVP Development and Programming for History, reporting to Hoogstra. She oversaw A&E mega-hit Duck Dynasty. Paul Cabana, who has led H2 for the past 18 months during which period the network has grown more than 60% to become the No.1 emerging ad-supported cable network, has been named to SVP and Head of Programming. Mary Donahue, previously VP Programming & Development at History, has been upped to SVP Non-Fiction Programming, Lifetime. She was part of the team that developed and launched hit Pawn Stars. Donahue will replace Gena McCarthy who moves to Bio as SVP Programming.
