July 22, 2013 (Los Angeles, CA) – Michael Levitt has been tapped as Executive Producer of the 2013 Young Hollywood Awards. The star-studded red carpet award show, which celebrates the best emerging young talent in film, music and television, will be broadcast for the first time on The CW Network on Thursday, August 1st (8-10 PM) from The Broad Stage in Santa Monica, CA. The announcement was made today by Jay Penske, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Penske Media Corporation (PMC) and owner and Executive Producer of the award show (and Deadline Hollywood).

The previously announced first round of honorees include: Lucy Hale (Crossover of the Year) Kit Harington (Actor of the Year), Liam James (Breakthrough Performance – Male), Tatiana Maslany (Breakthrough Performance – Female) Kelly Osbourne (Style Icon) and AnnaSophia Robb (Superstar of Tomorrow – Female). Additional honorees and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.
