EXCLUSIVE: Sony Pictures Television/Overbrook’s new daytime talk show The Queen Latifah Show has assembled its senior producing team under executive producer/showrunner Corin Nelson. Todd Yasui will serve as co-executive producer, while Jack Mori, Catherine McKenzie, David Harte and Sierra Lindsey will be supervising producers. “These producers bring tremendous experience, diversity of background and some of the most creative minds in this business to our show,” said Holly Jacobs, EVP, Syndication and Reality Programming, Sony Pictures TV.
Yasui most recently executive produced the Australian primetime talk show Rove LA. Before that, he served as SVP of Late Night for Fox and executive producer/showrunner of The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. Mori was a senior producer for The Oprah Winfrey Show, where he spent over 15 years. McKenzie was most recently senior broadcast producer at ABC News’ Good Afternoon America and a senior producer for Good Morning America since 2009. Harte most recently was supervising producer at G4’s Attack Of The Show and has served as a producer on Lopez Tonight, Last Call With Carson Daly and The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson. Lindsey was most recently producer lead for President Obama’s campaign. Prior to that, she produced for MTV shows.
The Queen Latifah Show, hosted by Queen Latifah and produced by Flavor Unit, Overbrook Entertainment and Sony Pictures TV, launches in September.
