The Secret Life Of The American Teenager‘s Daren Kagasoff has landed the male lead opposite Emma Roberts in Delirium, Fox‘s drama pilot from Karyn Usher, 20th TV and Chernin Entertainment. Based on Lauren Oliver’s bestselling book trilogy, it is set in a world where love is deemed illegal and can be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway (Roberts) does the unthinkable: she falls in love. Kagasoff, repped by CAA and John Carrabino Management, plays Alex, a young, handsome police officer with a secret agenda, who finds himself intensely attracted to Lena.
W. Earl Brown (Deadwood), Graham McTavish (The Hobbit) and Aldis Hodge (Leverage) have been cast in NBC’s drama pilot The Sixth Gun, a Carlton Cuse-produced adaptation of the Oni Press graphic novel. Written by Ryan Condal and directed by Jeffrey Reiner, The Sixth Gun, produced by Uni TV, is a supernatural Western which follows the story of six mythical guns, each with its own other-worldly powers. Brown will play General Oliander Hume, an undead, foul mouthed, brilliant Confederate War General that has been imprisoned for 18 years in a magical coffin. McTavish, repped by Stone Manners Salners and manager Cheri Barner, will play Silas Hedgepeth, wielder of the Fourth Gun and General Hume’s most Loyal Lieutenant. Hodge, repped by Paradigm and Jason Priluck, plays Agent Mercer, a PI looking for the missing guns. Brown, repped by Greene & Assoc. and manager Lynn Rawlins, will next be seen in Gore Verbinski’s The Lone Ranger.
