EXCLUSIVE: WME has brought up and coming actor Scoot McNairy into its talent stable. McNairy is most recognizable for Argo, for playing the U.S. embassy worker who was most skeptical of the daring rescue attempt that forms the basis for the film.

McNairy leaves by ICM Partners, and while it always hurts to lose rising clients as an agency like that regroups after a big restructuring, McNairy’s rep team has every right to hold their heads high. They just signed him to star with Michael Fassbender in Frank, and opposite Guy Pearce and Rob Pattinson in The Rover. He’ll next be seen in the Brad Pitt-starrer Killing Them Softly and the Gus Van Sant-directed Promised Land and Steve McQueen-directed 12 Years A Slave. He’s currently shooting Non-Stop for Universal opposite Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore. McNairy continues to be repped by The Group Management.
