Louis CK‘s second hourlong stand-up special for HBO will be taped during his current 16-city tour and air sometime in 2013, the premium network announced today. The comedian is coming off a pair of Emmy wins this year, one for writing his FX series Louie and one for writing his stand-up special Louis CK Live At The Beacon Theatre, the self-distributed concert performance that earned him a reported $1.1 million after he charged fans $5 apiece to download it online. He also just hosted Saturday Night Live with solid ratings. Louis CK, Dave Becky and Blair Breard will executive produce the special, with Louis CK directing. His last HBO special was 2007’s hourlong Louis CK: Shameless.
