Veteran TV lit agent Paul Alan Smith will be leaving ICM Partners on January 1 to start a new entertainment venture, Equitable Stewardship for Artists. The venture, which will not be a management company, is expected to have a close working relationship with ICM. Smith is now transitioning his clients to the agency. Those include Allen Coulter, Michael Fresco, Ted Kotcheff, Marc Buckland, Joe Chappelle and Jean De Segonzac. Smith was a member of the group of TV lit agents at Broder Webb Chervin Silbermann who formed the backbone of ICM’s TV lit department after the 2006 merger.
