Former Good Day LA anchor Dorothy Lucey today made a visit to rival KTLA Morning news, addressing her dismissal from KTTV, where her contract was not renewed after 17 years co-hosting the Fox station’s morning show with Jillian Reynolds and Steve Edwards. Lucey also spoke about her new project, a talk show produced by American Idol‘s Nigel Lythgoe. The talk show, Good News Girls, which Lythgoe is now shopping, features five prominent Los Angeles female anchors — Wendy Burch, Pat Harvey, Christine Devine, Lucey and Ana Garcia — who have a charity of the same name. The five would cover all sorts of topics on the show, including charity.
