BURBANK, CA, May 1, 2012 – Suzanne Fritz has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Domestic Publicity, for Warner Bros. Pictures, it was announced today by Sue Kroll, President, Worldwide Marketing.

Fritz will continue to help create and execute the domestic publicity campaigns for a wide range of feature films, reporting to Executive Vice President Juli Goodwin.

In making the announcement, Kroll stated, “We know when a campaign is in Suzanne’s hands, it is going to be innovative and inspired.  She is one of the film industry’s sharpest and most accomplished publicity executives, who has earned the admiration of her colleagues and peers, as well as respect and appreciation from talent and filmmakers.”

Fritz is currently working on the publicity strategies for such anticipated Warner Bros. Pictures releases as Tim Burton’s “Dark Shadows,” Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises,” Ben Affleck’s “Argo,” and Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby.”

Fritz joined Warner Bros. Pictures as a Vice President, Domestic Publicity, in 2004.  During her tenure, she has spearheaded the publicity campaigns for some of the studio’s biggest critical and commercial successes and has collaborated with a number of the industry’s most acclaimed filmmakers.  Some of the films on which she has worked include Nolan’s “Inception” and “The Dark Knight”; the Oscar®-winning Best Picture “The Departed,” directed by Martin Scorsese; Affleck’s “The Town”; Steven Soderbergh’s “Contagion”; Clint Eastwood’s “Gran Torino” and “Letters from Iwo Jima”; Francis Lawrence’s “I Am Legend”; and Burton’s “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” to name only a few.

She came to Warner Bros. from Revolution Studios, where she was head of publicity for two years.  Prior to that, she held the post of Vice President of Publicity and Promotions for Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin’s Centropolis Entertainment.  She had previously served as Executive Director of National Publicity at MGM.

Fritz is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
