Fortissimo Films has boarded international sales on Una Noche. Lucy Mulloy’s feature debut won best director, actor and cinematography at Tribeca in April. The Cuban film took a real-life twist when two of its stars decided to seek political asylum in the US last month. The story is set in Havana on a sweltering day when three desperate teens decide to flee to the U.S.

Arclight Films will debut sci-fi thriller Branded in the Cannes market. Starring Ed Stoppard, Leelee Sobieski, Jeffrey Tambor and Max von Sydow, the film looks at a dystopian society where corporate brands have unleashed a monstrous global conspiracy. Roadside Attractions has North America.
