TruTV Names Adam Dolgins SVP Original Programming

Adam Dolgins will focus on comedic and alternative reality shows as TruTV’s new SVP Original Programming. His group will oversee the network’s Impractical Jokers as well as its upcoming Killer Karaoke hosted by Steve-O. Dolgins arrives from his own production company Fractured Hip Prods, where he most recently was executive producer for four seasons of MTV’s game show Silent Library. His credits include Smoking Gun TV for Adult Swim and Court TV (before it became TruTV) and VHI’s Rock Of Ages. Dolgins will be based in New York and report to SVP Programming, Production and Development Darren Campo; Tony Horn will continue as SVP Current Programming Group, which handles the network’s more traditional reality series including Hardcore Pawn and Lizard Lick Towing.
