GCB TV RatingsOn the first night of daylight savings time, usage levels from 7-10 PM were down 7.3% from last week. ABC’s family-friendly 7 PM and 8 PM programs were the worst hit — America’s Funniest Home Videos (1.3/4 among adults 18-49) was down 41% from last week, while Once Upon A Time (2.8/8) was down 18% to a series low. With extra publicity for last night’s episode of Desperate Housewives (2.5/6), whose major plot twist was revealed at the Nicollette Sheridan-Marc Cherry jury trial on Thursday, the dramedy kept steady with last week. Encouraging news for midseason entry GCB (2.3/6) at 10 PM: after a so-so premiere, it avoided the dreaded second week-slump, instead going up a tenth last night. ABC (2.3/6, 7.8 million) won the night in 18-49. CBS (2.1/6, 10.1 million) was tops in total viewers.

Harry's Law, TV RatingsCBS’ lineup saw the least change from last week, with 60 Minutes (1.6/5), The Amazing Race (2.8/8) and CSI: Miami (2.1/5) all flat. But The Good Wife (1.7/4) at 9 PM was down 11% to a series low. NBC’s Harry’s Law (1.1/3) at 8 PM proved impervious to hiatuses and time-slot changes. In its first airing on Sunday after a two-month break, the legal dramedy posted the same rating it did in its last airing in the Wednesday 9 PM berth in January, which was a series low. It did build on its lead-in Dateline (0.9/3), which was down 10% from last week. At 9 PM, Celebrity Apprentice (2.0/5) was down 13%.

Bob's Burgers TV RatingsFox’s Bob’s Burgers (1.9/5) opened its second season on a low note — as in tying a series low. It was down not only from the NFL overrun-boosted series premiere last year but also from its modest first-season finale (2.1/6). Bob’s Burgers was the lowest-rated Fox series from 8-10 PM, only edging The Cleveland Show (1.6/5, up 7% from last week), which aired at 7:30 PM on the first daylight savings day. The news can’t be good for Fox, which gave the animated series a back nine Season 2 order in October, ahead of its second-season premiere. Bob’s Burgers’ lead-in, The Simpsons (2.3/7), was down 8% from last week. At 9 PM, Family Guy (2.8/7) was flat, while American Dad (2.2/5) was up 5%.
