Alexa Davalos (Defiance) is set for the female lead in Frank Darabont’s TNT drama pilot L.A. Noir,  a fast-paced crime drama set in Los Angeles during the 1940s and ’50s that tells the true story of a decades-long conflict between the LAPD, under the determined leadership of Police Chief William Parker, and ruthless criminal elements led by mobster Mickey Cohen. Davalos, repped by UTA and Anonymous, will play Jasmine, a beauty with a complicated past.

Andrea Savage has been cast in in Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot Rebounding. The project, written/executive produced by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, executive produced by Steve Levitan and directed by Jason Winer, is an uplifting comedy about Danny (Will Forte), a man recovering from the death of his fiancé with the help of the idiots on his pickup basketball team. Savage, repped by UTA and Mosaic, will play Danny’s smothering sister Amanda, a single mom with a 4 year old son, dumped by her ex-husband who left her for another woman.

Broadway actress Patti Murin has landed the female lead in another pilot, CBS’ untitled Louis CK/Spike Feresten multicamera comedy pilot, an ensemble of young people trying to achieve their creative dreams in these tough financial times. Murin, repped by Abrams Artists and Invictus, will play a struggling vintage clothing designer. She was most recently seen in the Broadway show Lysistrata Jones.

Alexia Fast (The Secret Circle) has been added to the cast of NBC’s drama pilot Midnight Sun. The thriller, based on an Israeli format, follows the mysterious disappearance of Midnight Sun, a group living on a cult-like commune in Alaska. It centers on Leah Kafka (Julia Stiles), a female FBI cult specialist leading the investigation that uncovers a larger conspiracy. Fast, repped by UTA, Great North Artists and Sanders-Armstrong-Caserta, will play a rebellious girl who goes poking around the Midnight Sun compound when her boyfriend and 36 others disappear.

The Cosby Show alumna Tempestt Bledsoe has been cast in another NBC comedy project, the untitled Jimmy Fallon pilot, about three thirtysomething guys (Jesse Bradford, Anthony Anderson, Zach Cregger) who enjoy the adventures of parenting even though they haven’t grown up themselves. Bledsoe, repped by the House of Representatives and attorney Channing Johnson, will play Marny, Anderson’s wife.
