APA Signs 'Detachment' Scribe Carl Lund

Writer/producer Carl Lund has signed with APA.  Lund most recently wrote and produced Detachment, the just released film that stars Adrien Brody, Marcia Gay Harden, James Caan, Christina Hendricks and Bryan Cranston.  Inspired by Lund’s work as a substitute teacher, the film chronicles three weeks in the lives of several high school teachers, administrators and students. Lund also recently adapted Echo, based on the young adult novel by Kate Morgenroth, for producer/actor Josh Hutcherson and Jet Lag Productions.  Lund has also written projects for  Julian Schnabel, Christine Vachon, and Greg Shapiro. He is managed by Caliber Media.
