Shawn Ashmore, co-star of the X-Men movie franchise, and Valorie Curry, who has a part in the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2, have joined the cast of Fox’s untitled Kevin Williamson drama pilot led by Kevin Bacon and James Purefoy. The project, from Warner Bros TV, is described as an edge-of-the-seat thriller about Joe Carroll (Purefoy) a diabolical serial killer who uses technology to create a cult of serial killers, and retired FBI profiler Ryan Hardy (Bacon) who finds himself in the middle of it. Ashmore, repped by Gersh and Paul Nicholls, will play a junior FBI agent who is part of the task force assisting Hardy in the search for Carroll. Curry, repped by Thruline, will play a young nanny who cares for Carroll’s son. Marcos Siega is directing the pilot.

Michael Marc Friedman has been cast opposite Mike Vogel in Living Loaded, Fox’s single-camera comedy pilot from It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia creator/star Rob McElhenney and the show’s executive producer Rob Rosell. Based on the book of the same name by Dan Dunn, it centers on Dan (Vogel), the loose partying blogger of the popular Living Loaded blog who is forced to change his career plans when he becomes an NPR radio host. Friedman, repped by Kyle Fritz Management and attorney Darren Trattner, will play Dan’s best friend Bobby, a roofer.

Brittany Ishibashi has been cast in Political Animals, USA Network’s 6-episode drama series from Greg Berlanti and Laurence Mark, which premieres this summer. Written by Berlanti and produced by Warner Horizon, the Washington DC-based series explores a fictional former first family that is on the verge of falling apart. It centers on Elaine Barrish, a divorced former First Lady and current Secretary of State who struggles to keep her family together while dealing with the crises of the State Department. Ishibashi, repped by Abrams Artists and Kyle Fritz Management, will play of Anne Ogami, the fiance of Elaine’s son Doug (Jimmy Wolk).
