Brittany Snow has been cast in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot 1600 Penn, about a dysfunctional first family. Conceived by Jason Winer, Jon Lovett and Josh Gad, the pilot is directed by Winer. Snow, repped by ICM and Brillstein Entertainment, will play Becca, the overachieving and perfectionist eldest daughter of the President who helped raise her siblings. She joins Gad, who is plays Skip, her gregarious and clumsy older brother. 20th TV is producing.
Clancy Brown and Mustafa Shakir have been added to NBC’s drama pilot The Frontier, which revolves around a group that heads West from Missouri across the uncharted country in the 1840s. On the Sony TV-produced show, Brown, repped by ICM and Pop Art, will play Jack Ramsay/Lamazee; Shakir plays Rossignol.
