London/Warsaw, 6 May 2011: Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), a unit of Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA, VIA.B), and Endemol, the largest independent television and digital production company in the world, today announced a strategic partnership to launch a new entertainment brand for women targeted to 16-49 year olds – Viacom Blink! It will debut in Poland in summer 2011 and will be available in more than one million households through two leading pay TV platforms, Multimedia Polska and N Platform, as well as other local distributors. VIMN and Endemol are also exploring additional international distribution opportunities, specifically in Central Europe, the Middle East and Latin America.

The development and roll out of Viacom Blink! is being led by Bhavneet Singh, Managing Director and Executive Vice President, Emerging Markets along with his team Miki Chojnacka, Vice President, Entertainment and Nicholas Walters, Vice President, Corporate Development of VIMN’s Emerging Markets group. Marina Williams, Endemol’s CEO of Central and Eastern European Operations and James Braham from Endemol Worldwide Distribution played a central role in negotiating Endemol’s partnership with VIMN.

Viacom Blink! will offer a premiere mix of content from Endemol’s extensive portfolio of formats as well as its distribution library spanning drama, comedy, lifestyle, reality TV, documentaries and game shows. This long-term partnership will grant VIMN access to more than 4,000 hours of content for television and digital media platforms, guaranteeing approximately 800 hours of premium premiere hours in the first year and approximately 650 hours in following years. Programmes include Hot in Cleveland, Make Me A Supermodel, Forensic Investigators, Rescue Special Ops, Home and Away, The Secret Life of Us, Spirited, Gok’s Fashion Fix, The Little Couple and Fear Factor US, among many others. VIMN is also currently in discussions with studios to showcase a selection of feature films on the channel.

Viacom Blink! joins VIMN’s portfolio of world class brands spanning kids, youth and adults and will provide viewers with high quality, multi-dimensional entertainment through the lens of a contemporary brand targeting women. With the launch of this standalone brand the VIMN portfolio will now provide distribution and advertising partners with a distinct offering of quality content for female audiences. In addition, Blink! will offer a unique platform for marketers to communicate with this dynamic audience in an innovative and creative manner.
