Turner has upped David Hudson, previously VP of alternative programming for the networks, to SVP late night and specials, where he will oversee a late-night slate that includes Conan and Lopez Tonight as well as continue to develop specials like the Screen Actors Guild Awards show and Christmas in Washington. He reports to Michael Wright, EVP and head of programming, TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies. “David has done a tremendous job supervising many key projects for TBS and TNT, including the high-profile launches of Conan and Lopez Tonight,” Wright said. “David will play a critical role in our late-night efforts on TNT and TBS, and this promotion is much-deserved.”
