Still more PMK/HBH flacks are abandoning ship in advance of the January 1st merger of the newly named PMK·BNC joint company. Others have struck out on their own or joined the newly formed Slate PR. Which begs the question: What exactly is BNC left buying when all the shaking up finally stops?
LOS ANGELES, CA, DECEMBER 21, 2009 – ID has tapped longtime PMK/HBH brand publicity executive Victoria Harvie as Vice President of Brand Strategies, CEO Kelly Bush and COO Mara Buxbaum announced today. Harvie will co-head ID’s Brand Strategies Department in Los Angeles with Vice President Heather Greenfield who has successfully managed ID’s brand business over the past four years. Also joining from PMK/HBH is Dan Strickford, signing on as an Account Director.
Longtime ID talent publicist Tamar Cohen is expanding her role from personal publicity to serve as a Senior Account Executive in the NYC office where she will continue to represent a select number of personal clients while integrating into ID’s brand representation. Chet Mehta will continue in his integral role as Senior Account Executive in both the film and brand departments.

As former Vice President of the PMK/HBH Brand Division in Los Angeles, Harvie has provided and implemented overarching brand strategy, fully-integrated entertainment programming and PR over the past eight years for clients including Neutrogena, Mercedes-Benz, eBay, Netflix, Spanx, Motorola, Unilever, Reebok, H&M, Johnson & Johnson, Xbox, and AOL. Harvie’s current clients include Neutrogena, Mercedes-Benz, Spanx, Netflix and eBay as well as a wealth of experience in special events and store/product launches for most recently Jimmy Choo for H&M, Maybach, among others.
As Vice President of Brand Strategies at ID, Greenfield has established herself as strategic partner across a multitude of businesses creating and implementing a host of media relations and marketing campaigns, product launches and influencer seeding programs for a host of influential brands including Tiffany & Co., Kiehl’s Since 1851, Moët and Chandon, PepsiCo and Sprinkles cupcakes.
A former Account Director in the Brand Division at PMK/HBH and key member of Harvie’s team, Strickford’s expertise lies in creating and executing strategies and tactics designed to meet clients’ PR objectives, developing campaigns, handling strategic media planning and issues management. Before joining PMK/HBH five years ago, Strickford started his professional career as a banker on Wall Street, doing business development and client service work for diverse Fortune 500 media and consumer companies.
Cohen’s clients at ID include Natalie Portman, Rachel Weisz, Liya Kebede and acclaimed best-selling author Jonathan Safran Foer. Prior to working at ID, Cohen was an advertising agency account executive for DDB Worldwide for all global Johnson & Johnson skincare brands. She also worked in the publicity department at Miramax on campaigns for their award-winning films such as Cold Mountain, Finding Neverland and The Aviator.
For three years, Mehta has created and led strategic publicity and marketing campaigns for a host of clients including entertainment brands, publications, nonprofits and high-profile events. His campaigns include both Twilight films (release campaigns), brands such as LACOSTE and Origins, events including Elle Women in Hollywood and Variety’s Power of Women, and charities such as Stand Up To Cancer and Declare Yourself.
