BNC explains to me about recent exits from PMK/HBH prior to the merger:
Victoria Harvie and her associate leaving was not unexpected. Many of her clients she was working on conflicted (she reps Mercedes/we rep Audi; she reps EBay/we rep Amazon) with current PMK·BNC clients. She is extremely talented and we wish her the best at ID.
Also we would be remiss not to address what is left at PMK·BNC (in respect to Talent representation). Most of the coverage has focused on the few talent publicists leaving.
By way of background, with a merger of this size we expected that there would be some that chose to pursue other opportunities. Again, we wish them the best. The majority of the talent department executives from PMK/HBH have committed to this new company. PMK·BNC possesses an impressive group of talent executives within the Entertainment Division (this does not even include our television, special events, and corporate entertainment areas).
Besides Cindi Berger and myself, the following people (many who turned down offers from other shops) are committed to PMK·BNC: Brad Cafarelli, Ame Van Iden, Kristen Foster, Jill Fritzo, Meghan Prophet, Nicole Chabot, Danica Smith, Catherine Olim, Heidi Schaefer, Britt Reece, Lauren Kucerak, Nicki Fioravante, Emily Yomtobian, Pearl Servat, Noelle Keshishian, Jennifer Goodwin, Hilary Hansen.
In fact, this week alone we signed Cat Deeley (from “So You Think You Can Dance”), Nestor Carbonell (“Lost”), and comedian Tom Papa.
