Hulu and Simon Fuller’s 19 Entertainment, creator of American Idol and So You Think You Can Dance, today announced the creation of If I Can Dream, a weekly show that will launch exclusively on Hulu and http://www.ificandream.com. “The partnership between the two companies will be the first of its kind, democratizing access to a television-quality program to audiences around the world, exclusively via the internet. If I Can Dream is the first in a generation of new post-reality entertainment shows that will document the authentic Hollywood story of five journeys to stardom, revealing every moment of triumph and struggle along the way.” It launches in America in early 2010.
