I have more on that Paramount shake-up and the reorganization of the four top executives under Brad Grey. Scott Aversano will be leaving his post as head of MTV/Nickoledeon films and will likely segue into a producer deal focused on those kind of films as well as general Paramount pictures. Brad Weston will keep his title as Paramount’s president of production. In turn, Weston will report to John Lesher who’ll take over all creative and production responsibilities for Paramount’s Motion Picture Group (including the film divisions of MTV, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, BET, Paramount Vantage) and report directly to Brad Grey. Rob Moore keeps his responsibilities as president of worldwide marketing, distribution, home entertainment and probably gets a title enhancement and keeps reporting directly to Brad Grey. Both Moore and Lesher will oversee business affairs. Frederick Huntsberry remains COO of Paramount Pictures. “Brad is solidifying his long-term senior executive management team,” an insider tells me. “These moves are in process. The titles haven’t been decided yet.” Anything DreamWorks reports to Brad Grey. (Good luck with that.)
