Naked Entertainment, the production company run by former Fox reality chief Simon Andreae, has made a number of senior hires to bolster its business in the U.S.

The FremantleMedia-backed production company, which has produced a number of series for Viacom’s Channel 5 including 100% Hotter and Secret Admirer, has brought in Stef Wagstaffe, showrunner of ABC’s Wife Swap and CBS’ Undercover Boss, and I Wanna Marry Harry and Utopia showrunner David Tibballs.

Both join as exec producers. Wagstaffe, who was previously a commissioner at Channel 4, showran over 100 episodes of Wife Swap in the U.S. and worked at Studio Lambert USA. Meanwhile, Tibballs, who will be based in LA, was most recently exec producer of CNBC’s Billion Dollar Buyer.

Wagstaffe said, “Naked is building a reputation for shows that are smart, distinctive, and editorially ambitious. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and supervising some of their most exciting new series on both sides of the Atlantic.”

The company, which also produces Channel 4’s Indian Summer School and E4’s My Hotter Half, has also hired Nelesh Dhand as Head of Factual Development. Dhand previously worked as a development producer at Naked before moving to All3Media-backed Optomen and Voltage. He will be responsible for strengthening Naked’s position in the factual and factual entertainment space.

Andreae, who also held a senior role at Discovery in the U.S. before setting up on his own, added, “We’re thrilled that Stef, David and Nel are joining us. They are all top class creative leaders, with a warmth, wit and wisdom that informs both their shows and their working practices and which we cherish highly. With their appointments, we’re perfectly primed for our next stage of growth.”
