EXCLUSIVE: Jake Scott, who most recently directed the upcoming drama The Burning Woman starring Sienna Miller, Amy Madigan, Aaron Paul and Christina Hendricks, has signed with WME.

The film, written by Brad Ingelsby and produced by Scott Free, Black Bicycle Entertainment and Romulus Entertainment, centers on a woman who, after the disappearance of her daughter, is left to raise her young grandson. The story is told over the course of 13 years. Endeavor Content is repping sales rights.

Scott’s directing credits include 2010’s Welcome to the Rileys that starred James Gandolfini, Kristen Stewart and Melissa Leo.

Both of the films were produced by Scott Free. Jake, the son of Ridley Scott, is also an acclaimed commercial and music video director via his Black Dog Films, a subsidiary of Ridley Scott’s RSA.
