CBS/Lionsgate’s Hell Fest is going two weekends sooner this fall, on September 28 instead of its original October 12 date.

The pic now faces off against Warner Bros’ animated title Smallfoot, Universal’s Kevin Hart-Tiffany Haddish comedy Night School, and Focus Features’ Boy Erased.

Directed by Gregory Plotkin, Hell Fest follows a costumed killer who enters a seasonal horror theme park on Halloween night and begins murdering with impunity in front of crowds. Only thing is, they think it’s all part of the show.

On its original date, the horror pic was set to compete against Universal’s Neil Armstrong biopic First Man and Sony’s Goosebumps: Haunted Halloween.
