David Letterman will visit Seth Meyers on NBC’s Late Night on May 23.

Letterman, the longest-serving late night show in U.S. TV history, famously hosted Late Night, debuting on February 1, 1982, exiting when he did not land The Tonight Show when mentor Johnny Carson retired. Letterman headed to CBS, where he hosted Late Show until May of 2015 when he passed the baton to Stephen Colbert.

Letterman these days is hosting  a talk show for Netflix. My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman debuted in January, with guest former POTUS Barack Obama. Other guests include: Tina Fey, Jay-Z, Howard Stern, etc.
