The day celebrates high school seniors who are choosing to pursue higher education at a professional training program, a community college, a four-year college or university, or the military. This will be the second time that Daymond John has joined with the Obamas and their specific initiatives. He was named a Presidential Ambassador for Global Entrepreneurship in 2016 where he traveled with the then President to Kenya and Cuba and he was very involved in their “My Brother’s Keeper” initiative.
