Former The Hollywood Reporter chief Janice Min has been hired as a consultant at
NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment. She will remain in her role at Valence Media, the company comprised of The Hollywood Reporter-Billboard Media Group, Dick Clark Productions and MRC.

E! Entertainment president Adam Stotsky unveiled the deal today in a memo to staff, saying Min “will be lending her expertise to E! and our broader portfolio.” He noted that as a strategic partner Min will help “create new initiatives that enhance and move forward our commitment and connection to women,” and that as former THR editor “she’s a perfect resource and sounding board for E! News.” No other details were provided.

The NBCU Cable group includes Lifestyle brands E!, Bravo, Oxygen and Universal Kids.

Valence is part of Todd Boehly’s Eldrdige Industries, which has stakes in various media and sports companies beyond news sites THR and Billboard, including A24 and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
