CBS slipped 1/10th of a rating point at 9 PM and 10 PM in the demo, but remained the net to beat, winning its 20th Friday of the TV season in viewers and 19th in the demo.

Network’s Hawaii Five-O (0.9 demo rating, 7.90 million viewers) took the night’s top demo spot; Blue Bloods (0.8, 8.70M) dominating in total viewers.

CBS’s toughest competition continues to come at 8 PM from Fox’s MasterChef Junior (0.8, 3.52M), which shared the hour’s demo win with MacGyver (0.8, 6.71M). The CBS drama dominated in total viewers by a 91% edge over Fox’s cooking competition, also besting NBC’s Taken (0.4, 3.03M), ABC’s Once Upon a Time (0.5, 2.25M), and CW’s Dynasty (0.2, 740K),

Hawaii Five-O beat its nearest 9 PM competitor, NBC’s Dateline, by 79% in viewers in the hour. The two-hour Dateline (0.7, 4.68M), however, jumped 41% compared to previous week’ one-hour edition in total viewers.

At 10 PM, Blue Bloods also nabbed top spot in its hour in the demo in a tie with Dateline’s second hour. ABC’s 20/20 (0,5, 2.37M) ticked up from the previous week in total viewers and the demo, featuring an interview with the mother of John Giuca, convicted of murdering a college student on the heels of an overturned conviction and a new confession.

After CBS (0.8, 7.77M), NBC (0.6, 4.13M) and Fox (0.6, 2.61M) tied for No. 2 in the demo. ABC (0.5, 2.22M) followed, then CW (0.2, 650K)
