Vice Media has named former Havas and Vivendi executive Dominique Delport as Chief Revenue Officer and President of International.

In his new position, Delport will spearhead the generation of revenue across linear, mobile and digital, and oversee the company’s ongoing expansion. He’ll work on new revenue streams for Virtue as well as Vice’s in-house execution arm specializing in creating content, experiences and thought leadership for brands, agencies and publishers.

Delport’s appointment comes on the heels of the hiring of Nancy Dubuc as CEO, to whom he will report. Outgoing A+E Networks president and CEO Dubuc is taking over the position from Shane Smith, Vice Media co-founder, who is moving to a new position of Executive Chairman.

Prior to joining Vice, Delport spent 17 years with the global advertising group Havas and entertainment group Vivendi as Havas’s Global Managing Director and Vivendi’s head of content, as well as a board member. During this time, Delport launched innovative new platforms such as the mobile content arm Studio+, the mobile first short drama platform and was shortlisted for two international Emmy Awards.
