Showtime’s stand-alone streaming service and its authentication service app Showtime Anytime are now available for LG Smart TVs. The premium cabler says it is the first cable network to launch on LG webOS Smart TV platforms.

LG Smart TV users can download the Showtime streaming app by going to the LG Content Store on their television. After signing up for a seven-day free-trial, new subscribers can continue the service for $10.99 per month. The Showtime Anytime app is available at no additional cost, through participating providers.

Through the service, subscribers will have unlimited on demand access to entire seasons of original series Homeland, The Chi, Billions, Ray Donovan, SMILF, The Affair, Shameless, Twin Peaks and I’m Dying Up Here and the upcoming limited series Patrick Melrose. Subscribers will also have access to the live broadcast of the network’s East and West Coast feeds, as well as box-office hits, comedy specials, documentaries and sports programming.

The app launch on LG smart TVs expands on Showtime’s streaming reach on other platforms that include Samsung smart TVs, Roku, Apple and Amazon devices, and the Xbox One console. Showtime is also distributed by vMVPDs and digital partners such as Hulu, YouTube TV, Sling TV, DirecTV Now, PlayStation Vue, fuboTV and Amazon Channels.
