EXCLUSIVE: As anxiety rises at 21st Century Fox today following the formal announcement this morning of the sweeping $66 billion acquisitions by The Walt Disney Company, Peter Rice has just sent out an email to staff notifying them of three town halls to be held today.

In the correspondence, which you can see in full below, the 21CF President doesn’t offer any indication of where things will go next for the company’s employees as the merger of many of Rupert Murdoch’s assets now belong to Bob Iger and the House of Mouse. However, Rice does promise “to answer any questions you may have about this morning’s announcement.”

“Nobody knows who is staying or going or what’s happening next,” one senior Fox staff told Deadline of the fallout of the merger. Today’s deal will see Fox’s film and TV studios, its FX and National Geographic cable networks, regional sports networks, UK satellite television provider Sky stake, its international cable networks and one of the most coveted film libraries in the industry now belong to Disney.

The trio of events at the Zanuck Theater on the Fox lot will take place at 10 am, noon and 2 PM with an additional town hall on Friday at 3 PM. Fox Network Group chairs and co-CEOs Dana Walden and Gary Newman along with Fox Sports boss Ed Shanks will be at all of the town halls with Rice. Perhaps heading over to meetings at Disney, FX chief John Landgraf will also be on stage for the first two gatherings but is seemingly skipping the 2 PM session today.

While the fate of many Fox staffers will likely be in flux over the next few weeks, Walden, as Deadline reported on December 10, is on the short list to become the head of Amazon Studios.

In that vein, read Rice’s full email here:
