Showtime has released the official trailer for the seventh season of its Emmy-winning drama series Homeland, which is currently filming in Richmond, Virginia.

At the end of last season, following an assassination attempt on her life, President Keane (Elizabeth Marvel) broke her promise to Carrie (Claire Danes) by arresting 200 members of the intelligence community without bringing charges against them, including Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin). As season 7 begins, Carrie has left her job in the White House and moved back to D.C. and is living with her sister Maggie (Amy Hargreaves) to take on the Keane administration and secure the release of the 200.

Danes, Patinkin and Marvel join returning series regulars Linus Roache, Maury Sterling and Jake Weber, along with Season 7 newcomer Morgan Spector (Boardwalk Empire).

Produced by Fox 21 Television Studios, Homeland is based on the original Israeli series Prisoners of War by Gideon Raff and developed for American television by Alex Gansa and Howard Gordon. Along with Gansa and Gordon, Chip Johannessen, Lesli Linka Glatter, Patrick Harbinson, Claire Danes, Michael Klick, Ron Nyswaner, Gideon Raff, Avi Nir and Ran Telem executive produce.

Homeland Season 7 premieres Sunday, February 11 at 9 PM on Showtime.
