EXCLUSIVE: Heroes and Villains Entertainment has added Chris Coggins and Gary Ventimiglia to its roster of managers.

Ventimiglia comes to Heroes and Villains as a manager from Authentic, after running production companies such as Maverick and Valhalla, where he was responsible for bringing in The Walking Dead graphic novel. His clients include director Chris
Moukarbel, who directed the Lady Gaga Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two; Michael Mayer, whose debut feature Out In The Dark won the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival for Frameline37 Wells Fargo First Feature Award; and Eytan Fox, whose feature directing credits include Cupcakes and Yossi & Jagger.

Coggins comes to Heroes and Villains from Luc Besson’s studio EuropaCorp where she was VP, and before that she was Head of Development at Rock Paper Scissors Entertainment, and an Executive at Allison Shearmur Productions at Lionsgate. There she nabbed the projects Burial Rites and Nerve. She began her career at Escape Artists and Sony, where she co-produced The Back-Up Plan for CBS Films and Hope Springs for Mandate. She also worked on such films as The Pursuit of Happyness, The Weather Man, The Taking of Pelham 123, Knowing, The Great Debaters, and Seven Pounds.

This is the third round of hires in as many years for the company.
