Nina Lannan and Alan Wasser, two of Broadway’s most successful general managers behind productions from Cats to Lysistrata Jones, will receive this year’s Tony Awards’ Honors for Excellence in the Theatre.

Nina Lannan has served as executive producer and general manager on more than 50 Broadway productions since she began as the assistant general manager on the musical Cats in 1980. In addition to general management, she served as the executive producer of School of Rock, Motown: The Musical, and the long-running hit musical Mamma Mia! for its entire Broadway run.

Wasser was the founder and chairman of Alan Wasser Associates, and in 1986 general managed all of Cameron Mackintosh’s Broadway and U.S. touring productions. Other Broadway production have included Fosse, Seussical, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, Lysistrata Jones and many more.

The 71st Annual Tony Awards, hosted by Kevin Spacey, airs on CBS Sunday, June 11 (8 pm, ET/delayed PT).
